THE HUMAN IN THE SYSTEM

ABOUT

I’m Marek Salurand.
Software engineer.
Creative technologist.

For 10+ years, I’ve been building digital products where software, AI, automation, and design meet.

These days, much of my work is AI-native: bringing LLMs, computer vision, and intelligent workflows into real products, and into the way I build them.

I work across web, mobile, and connected hardware. The interesting part is finding the right combination to turn an idea into something useful.

LET’S TALKVIEW CV

WHAT I BUILD

ACROSS DISCIPLINES

AI & automation

LLMs / AGENTS / RETRIEVAL

AI-native applications, LLM integrations, agents, and intelligent workflows. I explore retrieval systems, local and multimodal models, and developer tooling that makes everyday engineering more effective.

Web & mobile

REACT / NEXT.JS / REACT NATIVE

Full-stack web and mobile products, from a polished interface to the APIs and backend systems behind it. My core stack includes React, Next.js, TypeScript, and React Native.

Connected systems

COMPUTER VISION / IoT / HARDWARE

Computer vision, machine learning, sensors, RFID, embedded devices, and robotics. I connect software to the physical world through IoT, digital twins, and automation.

Creative technology

PRODUCT DESIGN / UI/UX / PROTOTYPING

Rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, product design, and experimental interfaces. I combine UI/UX, creative coding, and AI-assisted engineering to make an idea tangible early.

HOW I WORK

Building is how I learn.

I’m especially interested in how AI is changing the development environment itself. I experiment with new models, coding agents, multimodal systems, and AI-assisted product design to get from an idea to a working prototype faster.

My previous work spans machine vision, blockchain infrastructure, logistics, digital identity, robotics, and large-scale web and mobile products. What keeps me curious is the next thing that doesn’t quite exist yet.
